This is a message to all Floridians 

Homework has been the detriment of students in the florida education system for years. 

Districts rely on homework to teach students on the topics they are learning and as a result, a handful of teachers do not put in the full effort needed to teach their students.

We are in fact not taught to learn but to memorize and in return, grades do not properly represent a childs understanding of a topic but rather how much work and stress they put in to complete assignments. 

Support this petition for the betterment of all students in the disappointing and failing florida education system
