Ban Green Bay Paid Parking

This petition had 36 supporters

I'm presenting the Ban Green Bay Paid Parking petition because paid parking hurts the citizens and taxpayers of Green Bay, WI, as well as the owners and managers of Green Bay businesses.

Visitors are forced to pay for parking and parking tickets, or are forced to visit other locations. While the mayor and alderpersons planned for bi-hourly, hourly, and half-hourly payment periods to force vehicle turnaround, the payment periods are challenging and annoying for paying customers, forcing customers to quit shopping.

While parking passes and several parking buildings are available, workers are forced to pay for parking while already trying to commute and pay taxes. Since paid parking was chosen by the mayor and the alderpersons, acquaintances and associates have mentioned avoiding the ticketing areas of Green Bay, as well as moving away because of being ticketed.

By signing the linked petition, we are asking Green Bay, WI and its mayor and alderpersons, for a ban of paid parking, a greater variety of parking hours and options, and for Green Bay to become great for the businesses, paying customers, and taxpayers of Titletown, U.S.A.
