We have been extremely upset reading the news about China’s interest in importing donkeys and dogs from Pakistan. 

The donkeys are often viciously slaughtered and their skins shipped to China, it has been illegally happening for many years from our own country as well. Imagine when it legalises what hell will be loose on the animals. 
China not only uses the donkey skins for medicines but also consume donkey meat and dog meat regularly. The treatment of donkeys brings intense suffering at every stage of the trade. From their sourcing to their eventual slaughter, the conditions are unethical and unacceptable. 
We do understand that our economy is unstable at the moment and the country is going through a disastrous situation. We urge, plea and request the Government of Pakistan, Senator Zeeshan khanzada, Mirza muhammad afridi and the Commerce ministry officials to not allow this or accept this. 

Rather than creating a humane society, a kind and empathetic Pakistan we will fall to zero and every effort from all of us will go to waste. 

We need each one of you to write to the government officials (info@pmo.gov.pk) tweet to them salmansufi7 , speak to them and stand against this policy/law before it’s implemented and accepted. We all need to stand together and make this stop, we cant imagine what it would be like for the most abused animals of our society. They work all their lives, carry weights, when sick, injured or old rather than getting rehabilitation they should not be sent for slaughter. No living being deserves to live like that and die like that. Currently they are bred to be used as working carts etc but if this happens people will actually breed them for selling to china. People will become more cruel and heartless towards them. 

We’ve spent days and nights saving and rescuing the dogs and donkeys. We cant imagine any of this for them or any other animals. When the government officials dont think about the protection and well being of the voiceless members of our society all our efforts fall to the ground. 

Please stand against this cruelty. We cant let this happen at any cost �

Our voices combined can help the voiceless animals of Pakistan. Please sign the petition, spread the word and stand against the inhumane trade. We need our voices heard to end this and ban it from happening.
