I have set up this petition to make dog owners aware at how dangerous it is to walk their dogs over 20 degrees. I see way to many people walking their dogs in the mid day sun where it has been as high as 29 in some areas. This is animal cruelty, your dog will always go with you but they are unable to tell you they are too hot. Unfortunately for too many dogs this results in their death due to heat stroke. I want to be able to get a law written or this added to the animal cruelty act so that owners that do put their dogs at risk can be prosecuted. (This shouldn’t include dog walking businesses as they will not put your dog at risk)
