Ban Ayatollah Khamenei from Instagram and Twitter
Why this petition matters
The Islamic_Revolutionary_Guard_Corps (IRGC) quds force in Iran is now being considered to be listed as a terrorist organization in Canada. Their supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei and other members of IRGC do not belong on social media.
What is going on in Iran?
Along with many other activities that are forbidden in Iran, Also:
- Hijab is forced on women in Iran.
- It is illegal to hang out with a boyfriend/girlfriend in Iran.
- It is illegal to be gay in Iran.
To enforce these rules, IRGC has made up a police division that monitors the cities of Iran with big vans to take violators to a police station to be punished.
On September 13th the morality police in Iran beat a 22-year-old woman, Mahsa Amini to death because of her ‘improper’ attire.
Her death triggered mass protest nationwide.
In response, The Iranian regime has been mass murdering and terrorizing the protesters on the streets, in schools, and in the comfort of their homes.
Ayatollah Khamenei the supreme leader of Iran and his followers have been gaslighting the people of Iran with comments such as:
- Mahsa Amini had an existing brain condition that led to her death.
- The Iranian people are “shedding alligator tears”. Which is a Farsi saying for “they are making a big deal out of a minimal situation”.
- This is all being orchestrated by the western countries.
And many more…
The goal of this petition is to silence the lies of Ayatollah Khamenei @khamenei_ir by banning him and other members on IRGC from Instagram and Twitter.
