I am trying to help formerly incarcerated people in the job industry. In many states Amazon has a question about if an individual has a felony in the last 7 years on it's job application. While Amazon does higher felons, this question leaves opportunity for the company to easily throw away applications of people that check off this box, even though they have served their time or punishment. Formerly incarcerated people or people with a felony on their record should be able to find a job to get back up on their feet again, 7 years is too long of a time to wait to be able to have a fair opportunity.
