Following the recent poor example of ‘Partygate’, it is time to ban alcohol from the Houses of Parliament.  It is ridiculous to think that the use of alcohol has been allowed to ‘cloud the minds’ of public servants over many years previously.  The use of alcohol by other public servants, for example employees of the NHS, is banned from it being on the premises.  With regard to the members of the House of Lords, a ban of alcohol at lunchtime might just help them to stay awake in the afternoon!
