Baker students has recently found out that neighboring noble schools such as Gary Comer and other noble schools other than Baker, are  able to have their phones in school except during class hours which i find is fair. However, we- the students, feel as though it isn’t fair how we aren’t able to have our phones at all. We are responsible enough to know when we’re able to have our phones. We should be able to have our phones. It’s great how everything is changed except something we’ve been wanting to change since most of us started going to Baker College Prep. We are in the middle of a pandemic, it’s hard enough we have our seats blocked off due to social distance, we can’t communicate that much at all to “socialize” the way we want too. In conclusion , the students of Baker College Prep, are asking to have the right to use our phones outside of a classroom, and using them during passing periods, after school activities, lunch, and pep rally’s.
