In July 2014, “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses became the oldest song with one billion youtube views. It is argued by many, including former presidents, to be the greatest music video of all time. The music video, directed by Andy Morahan and based on a short story by Del James, premiered on MTV Headbangers Ball on the date of June 6, 1992. Just a few short months of its 30th year anniversary, the video has accrued almost 2 billion views.

As of Weds March 9, 2022, November Rain has 1,835,130,647 views, averaging about 61,000 views per day. To get to our goal, we would need at least 1,800,000 views per day. That's a lot, but not impossible. With our collective effort and fandom, we can all contribute at least 9 minutes and 16 seconds of our busy lives to get the greatest music video of all time to 2 million views.
