Many residents of Axis-on-Brickell have pets as companions.  During the pandemic, the number of residents with dogs likely has grown significantly.  It is now more important than ever to have a good dog park for the building.

Axis residents would like to see — and request your serious consideration of — the following improvements: 

• Replacing the extremely narrow (9-inch wide) tile pathway, which is difficult for both dog owners and their dogs to walk on, with a wider (30-inch wide) smooth brick or paved walkway.

• Clearing the scattered rocks and pebble stones; and replacing them with a grass lawn and several benches, so that tenants can sit and enjoy watching their dogs play in a clean, pleasant environment.

• Installing new lighting fixtures that provide better visibility and improved security.

• Ensuring continued, scheduled maintenance and upkeep of the dog park.
