I would like to Reopen Abingdon Airfield for civil flying. I believe this would be good for creating jobs and for regenerating the local economy.  It would also be good for employment in the local Abingdon Area. The Dalton Military Barracks should be closed and reinstated as a General Airfield. The focus should be on using the airfield for what it is intended for; civil flying, Light aircraft and pilot training.
