I want HIV/AIDs to become a lesser issue in Africa. Many families have endured losses of family members, as well as the suffrage dealt with from this unforgiving disease. Over a million people, from Africa, adults and children, die from AID's per year. Although there is in fact antiretroviral drugs that treat the AIDs virus, it cannot get around to everyone who needs it most, particularly in Southern Africa. If we, the US, can give aid to Africa by helping them distribute the medicine to the people to save as many lives as possible. This will help improve life expectancy of Africans and better the quality of life. If this were to become a reality, it would relieve much of their stress, as well as mine, since I could feel I helped them and have a good conscious about what has been done to help.
