Education as a necessity for the human basic rights must be accessed by citizens  to achieve both intellectual and  personal development. In particular to the class hour allotted for major subjects, Grade 12 Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM)  classes have four hours to spend for discussion and other matters. In students' perception this seems inadequate.

During the implementation of K-12, subjects are being categorized as core, applied and specialized. Likewise, they are classified as minor and major subjects. The problem is that, at the time of class, minor subjects dominate major subjects.

As concerned citizens, Accountantship Goals Organization (AGO) proposes a petition with the purpose of prioritizing major subjects of ABM strand such as Fundamentals of Accounting, Business and Management 1 and 2, Organization and Management, Principles of Marketing, Business Ethics and Social Responsibilities, Business Finance, and Applied Economics.

As the saying goes, "A cook doesn't need a paint" is somehow related to this matter. At first, Senior High School is meant to direct upcoming college students to their preferred course not to contradict their interests. So, why should they give more time in less important matters? Thus, the minor subjects should have least time consumption in every class session.

Time is gold and every man's watch ticks. Also, the system of the now-curriculum dictates most of the students, for instance, the culminating activities and curriculum guides.

In this kind of situation, bluntly, school is not about learning but more likely getting high grades. In the contrary, your grades don't define your success in life but your expertise in your career always does.

With great anticipation, AGO seeks for your immediate support and cooperation. Let's not wait for tomorrow because today is the tomorrow we talked about yesterday.
