These people have the right to be able to live outside of forced labour. The Australian government neesds to take action to stop people being treated like equipment and to give them the opportunity to live freely.

It is hard to determine if a product is ethical, by changing the laws we won't need to be so diligent and we won't be supporting these corrupt companies. We need to make companies responsible.

As global citizens we must do what we can to rescue those forced into slavery.

Trying to source ethically produced ANYTHING in Australia is so difficult at the moment. Unless you are shopping in fair trade stores it is almost impossible to tell where your clothes are coming from & what has happened during their production. With such cheap clothes currently available I am doubting that they were produced without using slavery. I would prefer to spend more money & know that I am not employing slaves. I believe this would be a fantastic initiative to promote more people to buy slavery free clothing & help spread the word that this is still an issue in today's society.

I in no way wish to support companies that use slaves or condone their actions with my silence.

I'm disgusted that this has been happening to children/ people. I feel like I've ignorantly approved of this behaviour by buying products made by the enslaved and will now help in any way I can to change this! I will boycott any organisation that participates in this and will tell as many people as I can to do the same. My heart goes out to them.

No one should be enslaved, we need to stop producers of consumer goods from using people in this way - now!

I am horrified to think that goods purchased by us in Australia could have been produced using slave and/or child labour.
