I own two cavaliers, and love the breed. Sadly, cavaliers are prized for their good looks and show quality. We got two pure-bred cavaliers, which means they have minimal health problems, yet one still has a heart murmur. Cavaliers are known to have terrible heart problems, and we need to help change that and breed the cavaliers that have healthy bodies so the future generations are healthier than they have ever been before! :)

Dogs are treated like objects and little or no thought is given to their health. The AKC (American Kennel Club) is no better. They say they love dogs but they only love the ego boost they get form producing"perfect" dogs and that is unacceptable. Dogs are not trophies but living and feeling beings.

Stop the discrimination, they're living sentient beings and want to live. They have every right to live. There are people and animal organizations that will take them.

I'm the proud owner of two cavaliers king Charles spaniëls and I have experienced first hand the health issues these dogs have to battle!

Health of an animal is more important to me as a dog owner than anything else. I want my dog to be happy and healthy and by not testing unscrupulous breeders sell puppys who cost more at the vets throughout their life and die younger.

it`s only fair. purebred cavaliers or any purebred dog needs not be defined by its colour.

This color was acceptable at one time and was shown in England. Resiculous to cut out a group of dogs because of color.

I think that the colour should not matter one iota! They still are Cavalier King Charles and still loving faithful creatures. So just accept these gorgeous wonderful dogs.
