Rights & fees for single travellers: Dance with someone or stay home?

Equity for single travellers. Single travellers are continually charged double price or single supplement when travelling in Australia and also when using Australian travel agents to book international cruises, tours and flights.  A single traveller uses half the services, perishables, food and drink as a couple or twin share yet are required to pay the full cost ( same as two travellers sharing a room).  Understandably one room is hired whether one or two people but no consideration is taken of all other supplements involved in the purchase.  Today’s society due to women living longer than men and women and men choosing not to marry mean that significant numbers of travellers wish to do so alone, but cannot due to the exhorbitant charges and requirements of travel agents.  This DISCRIMINATION must STOP.
