The Australian Healthcare Workers have been suffering long before the pandemic, but the COVID-19 virus has amplified these effects in Australia.

I have created this petition to spread awareness on this serious issue in our community. This could possibly endanger the lives of many people due to the issues in unsafe staffing and support of our healthcare workers, with over 70% suffering a mental illness. 

To create change and possibly keep more people in jobs, a positive benefit for our health system would be a wage increase of a minimum of 5% in all frontline health workers across Australia.
