David McLelland started this petition to Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

There is now overwhelming scientific evidence that vaccines have two effects - the specific (immunity to the targeted disease) and non-specific (immunity to non-targeted diseases, significant improvements to general health, OR predisposition to non-targeted diseases and poorer general health.) Until comparatively recently, doctors have only been told about their specific effects, however, as seen above it is now apparent that the nonspecific effects of vaccines can be highly beneficial or deleterious. Of the 10 vaccines trialled, four live vaccines (measles, oral polio, BCG or tuberculosis, and smallpox) have all shown significantly beneficial non-specific effects, and 6 non-live vaccines (DTP - diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis, hepatitis b, HPV and influenza) have all shown negative non-specific effects, especially DTP.
This is "inconvenient" science, and the Australian regulator AHPRA prevents doctors discussing this science with patients.
You have a right to discuss this with your doctor.
