Batteries are more expensive than fossil fuel engines. The LCT threshold on EVs should be at least doubled its existing level to reflect this

EV’s are a clean efficient and very reliable form of transport. Can be changed from home solar panels, no oil, oil filters, fuel filters, gearboxes, injections fuel money to the Saudi bombers, a obvious choice on many criteria.

We are decades behind on having affordable EVs in Australia. They were first mass produced in the 1990s. As a community we should start pushing this NOW.

Transport is the second biggest emitter in Australia. UK will have no fossil fuel cars by 2030. Why are we so far behind other countries... Ask Angus Taylor and the car/mineral lobby.

I'm signing because Australia's uptake of EV's is very far behind most advanced countries. We need to cut back on CO2 emissions and stop paying foreign countries billions of dollars for our fuel. We can become energy secure and invest in local industry and jobs instead.
