In 2011 the Expendable Project began to publish FOI material which had been obtained from across government, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Attorney-General’s Department, the AFP, the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service, the Australian Crime Commission, the ABC, and a multitude of other institutions and agencies.

This comprises ‘official’ data: correspondence, transcripts, emails, records, documents, and a vast array of other information types. This is incontrovertible. It is the raw unedited data which proves precisely what happened in the Schapelle Corby case.

It proves not only that she is entirely innocent, but that government ministers, the AFP hierarchy, and others, committed serious criminal offences in protecting their own self interests at her expense. They withheld and suppressed the vital evidence, and material which would have attracted focus upon their own conduct. They lied to cover this up.

Unfortunately, the media has never reported this material, and current politicians refuse to even acknowledge its existence.

We, the undersigned, are concerned that some individuals are above the law and that the law is not applied equally to all citizens. We are concerned that the media has consistently failed to fulfil its roll as the watchdog of democracy and has festered in its own form of dysfunctionality and corruption.

We therefore call for a Royal Commission into the whole of the Schapelle Corby case, and an independent criminal investigation into the grave issues identified via the published FOI data.
