These are all significant historical figures for Australia, but we now need a more modern Australian hero someone who is a symbol for all of the country. Who better than Australian legend, Steve Irwin as the new face of the $100 note?

Steve Irwin is the reason our great nation is how it is today. He put an immense amount of hours studying and researching Australian Wildlife so modern generations could be well educated and live hand in hand with it. He risked his life day after day so our society could flourish. Steve Irwin was a national treasure that our small island was blessed with. He had founded multiple Organisations to help endangered species get back on their feet including Wildlife Warriors and International Crocodile Rescue. Let us honour our fallen Aussie brother by putting him on our currency and keeping his great legacy alive.
