Totally unfair and a way of locking out those from lower socio-economics groups from disadvantaged schools - who can use Humanities Degrees with their lower TER scores - to springboard into other spheres of study after getting into University

Education is a right. I studied social science and doubling the cost of my degree is NOT an incentive for me to study a cheaper degree that I have no passion for. This is a JOKE.

I am an arts student. my discipline of learning is of value to society and to me. many government workers went through similar degrees FOR FREE which is unjust.

Decrease the price of the courses that have a lack of graduates in it, and leave the prices the SAME for all other units. How hard is that!?

It is ridiculous to have to choose between studying a field you want to work in and being 'forced' to choose another career due to the a hike in fees, in humanities, law and commerce.

This is a cowardly act during the crisis of COVID-19, people are losing jobs, everyone is being impacted financially, and it's hard already to take care of finances as a student.
