Currently there are thousands of refugees, women and children, coming though the borders of Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Slovakia and Romania. 

Most of these people just have the clothes on their back when they get to the boarders, having been forced to escape their previously happy lives into the unknown to them territory in effort to protect their children. 

The weather in many areas is still cold and vilotile.

Australian citizens would like to join the effort of the brave and relentless Polish, Slovakian, Romanian, Moldavian and Hungarian volunteers. We would like to send clothes, blankets and other humanitarian aid to these countries in order to help families in need who have crossed the boarder.

However, the cost of postage to these countries is high.

We ask Australia Post to join our efforts and provide FREE or significantly discounted postage fees for parcels to these countries as long as the war rages on in Ukraine.

As Australians we must join our efforts to keep innocent lives safe and children of all nations fed and cared for. Australia Post has an opportunity to play a big part in this and lead as an example to other nations.
