The death of Queen Elizabeth II, a foreign monarch, has resulted in our politicians suspending parliaments across the country for as much as 2 weeks. 

Ordinary Aussies can't just suspend their jobs and give themselves time off, life goes on, and for many, they couldn't afford the time off anyway as there is a significant cost of living crisis and a growing homelessness crisis. 

Australian politicians should fulfill their duty to the Australian people, for which they are paid $200k+, and return to parliament as previously planned prior to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
