The Tallest started this petition to Aunt Jemima and

Aunt Jemima got taken off of the syrup bottle for no reason at all, and it's dumb because Quaker Oats thinks that she is "based on a racial stereotype" when all it is is a black women being the face of a company, which actually could be inspiring for black people because they know that they can be the face of a company just as much as white people. So there is no reason to change the Aunt Jemima brand because there is nothing wrong with it. Aunt Jemima syrup has been around since 1889, and nobody has said anything about it until now. And notice that this is during the same time that the Washington Redskins had to change their name to the football team. I'm all for equality for everyone, however this preposterous because it's not even the people with "red skin" that are getting offended, its other people that think its racist when the people that it would really offend, aren't getting offended. The same thing will happen to the Cleveland Indians baseball team, when once again, Indians are not getting offended by this name. This is not fair and all of this should be changed immediately.
