As a music student, it is JARRING in these current times to be forced to use slavery-derived audio terms in an industry dominated by POC people. It is tasteless and evident these terms were created by cis white men with little to no regard for equality.

The language is outdated, offensive and crude. Plus "plug", "socket", "send" and "receive" are actually simpler to understand.

I work in this industry, and this is the most immature, stupid petition I've ever seen. You'll confuse everyone, there's nothing wrong with Male and Female, get over yourself, you total plonkers.

I'm signing this because JL is a comedic genius! I'm looking forward to your next petition on paint swatches in which terms like 'Ivory White' are sure to cause deep harm to elephant activists and pianists alike. Keep up the good work.

What a feed of shite. With so many important issues, someone comes up with this nonsense. Snowflake society arguing for the sake of arguing. Get a life!
