Premium Cars being stolen in minutes.

It's almost a daily occurance to see/hear of Audis being stolen on social media.
More often than not it involves people waking up to find glass on their driveway and not having heard any alarm sounding.
For those that have CCTV there is a regular pattern of thieves smashing driver side windows, climbing through the window and driving away in <3 minutes.
Personally I feel there needs to be more accountability on the car manufacturers to explain why there is an obvious security issue with these premium vehicles. This petition isn't about stopping thieves as that's the role of the police but if the deterrent (such as the alarm) isn't going off then it makes the task a lot easier.
I witnessed my own car being broken into with a thief hanging out of the window with no alarm sounded. Friends and neighbours have had their Audis stolen too with no alarms sounding. When calling Audi to ask why the alarm isn't being triggered their first response was to say that my alarm may have been faulty and to pay £80 to book it in for a diagnostic. For me the issue is a lot deeper than a potential faulty alarm and Audi should be addressing this.
