I am signing because I tired of council continuously rocking our boat and giving us grief

Fred Larkin created Beach Haven beach by fetching sand from a sand bank across the harbour in his boat. Countless trips created a beach that children have enjoyed for decades. Fred’s boat was always a highlight of any visit. I remember the feeling of accomplishment the 1st time I could make the swim out to the boat and climb aboard. This is a historic piece of Beach haven created by a local for the kids of the area and we should preserve it for future generations.

Why take something that families can create memories with, that they once had when they were kids

Frank put so much love, time and energy into making Beach Haven. The boat is historical. Let's save It and allow the kids to play in it. Frank would have wanted this.

My husband and I grew up in Beachhaven and he played in the boat many times. Our now grown up kids have heard all the stories about the boat and all Frank did for the community.
I have only just seen this post so hope it's not too late..
