Students in college are constantly studying and working for their future. When a school gives a break, (such as spring break or any major holiday) it should be a legitimate break. Instead, Auburn University continues to force assignments on their students during these “breaks”. While the school may argue that their students should have ample time over their “break”, it still is not an actual break. Students then stress about school during the only time they are supposed to have to relax. This can be potentially detrimental to the mental state of students. Students pay the school. Students should be able to make decisions like this. Professors could simply make the assignment due on the day students come back from their “break”.

Auburn University should not be able to assign work during any holiday or break.
