We the English speaking Southern cameroons diaspora are very concerned with the heavy militarization of our regions by Mr Paul Biya whose military have been involved with  massive killings and targeting in most cases of unarmed civilians. Alot of our families have been killed, some are being burnt alive, raped etc. Their houses are being burnt and loothed by the military. Mr Paul Biya and his military are carrying out series of war crimes and genocide in southern Cameroons. This situation of war has caused more than 40,000 People to be displaced from their homes and they are fleeing to the neighbouring country Nigeria. Alot are living in inhuman conditions in the bushes. when it rains, they are forced to sleep on the muddy ground and with some dead bodies abandonned in the bushes and and with mosquitos. There are reported cases of Cholera, malaria, thyhoid epidermics which make things very worrying. We are pleading with the international communities, to you all your excellencies to ask Mr Biya to demilitarize our regions the quicker as possible, a call for an immediate ceasefire and open doors for dialogues. The current war situation is getting worser and worser every day with alot of civilian casualties and material damages. During Mr Biya's swear - in speech on the 6th of November 2018, We thought he would apologize to the population and promise to end the war. No, he instead promised to continue with the war and threatened to continue killing the minority of us the English speaking  Southern Cameroonians. We would like all the parties mentioned above to kindly ask Mr Paul Biya to withdraw his troops as soon as possible and put an end to the conflict.

We sincerely thank you your excellencies and all the institutions in advance and we hope our demand be regarded with so much considerations and interests

Best Regards

The Spokeswoman for the Southern Cameroons Diaspora
