Australia should follow what the USA and UK are doing and require businesses to provide public statements about the supply chain for their goods and services to protect it against slavery and forced labour. This includes the use of "conflict materials" that are sourced by forced labour during times of war or similar conflict.

I believe in a world free of injustices, inequality, unfair treatment and slavery. The Australian governments needs to enact legislation that protects the rights of workers in the fishing industry and to ensure its consistent with other state / nations.

This is unsustainable business practice, if these operations cannot work without indentured & / or slave labour, they should not be in business in the 21st century. Pay people a full and fair wage for their work, without fear or intimidation of them or their families.
