Don't Move The Frankston Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Information Centre has occupied a prime position at Frankston Waterfront for over 10yrs offering a wide range of local experience and expertise. At a recent meeting, which was closed to the public, the Frankston City Council voted to move the Centre to the Library precinct where space and parking will be strictly limited. The retail, hospitality and tourism services provided by the Information Centre have been widely acclaimed by beachgoers, local residents and visitors from within Australia as well as International visitors and any relocation of the Centre would greatly diminish the value and quality of these services. This national award-winning Centre (Australian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame) is situated at Frankstons number one attraction the Waterfront. We seek your support in persuading the Council to reverse this regrettable decision and maintain the Visitor Information Centre in its current location.
