For women who put their lives on the line and serve our country deserve better treatment. But we must go beyond this and offer action to STOP the assaults that continue on women in the military!

Brave women and men who protect and defend our country should not bear the costs of unnecessary trauma, including sexual abuse and rape by their fellow soldiers.

I'm signing because forcing the victim of a crime to pay for its solution is outrageous. Rape and Incest are crimes. Especially if the abortion facilities are unsanitary or unsafe, we risk putting victims in peril of their lives. We don't even do that for many non-military criminals who have killed someone.
The notion that a fertilized egg has to become an unwanted child, likely defective if the father is a relative or a criminal rapist, is inhumane and is espoused only by some religious people, not all of them..
Our country has asked only a small percentage of citizens to fight for their country, and we must treat those volunteers humanely..

Armed forces are deployed to bring about fair treatment of women in Afganistan, yet US armed forces deny democracy to their own.

It is horrific enough to imagine our female service members being raped during service to our country. It is unfathomable that if the consequence is pregnancy, the U.S. military does not pay for an abortion.

I don't want our women soldiers endangered by substandard abortions. They are already risking their lives for us.

Those who serve our country should be treated with dignity and the upmost consideration.
