Stop littering San Diego with plastic wrapped advertising that is indiscriminately tossed out the window of a vehicle.  Vericast is littering San Diego by selling advertising in a "Newspaper" that is wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown in front of approximately 35,000 residences at least once a week. Most of these weigh approximately 9 ounces.  That accumulates to over 10 tons of paper and plastic that nobody asked for! A majority of these never get read or picked up, therefore, they become pollution.  In addition to being an unsightly nuisance, these "Newspapers" get soaked and washed into our storm drains and sewers.   In the drier months, they become fire fuel in our canyons.

Mr Mayor and City Council, please help us stop this pollution by making the Save.com flyers be "Opt In" only distribution in all of San Diego County.
