Navada Williams called her own dog in as a stray to police after neglecting her for so long. She turned her back on her own dog, her responsibility and left it up to the authorities to decide her fate. Little Girl was starved, neglected and after a recent eye surgery and her stitches left in for months, she was tossed out in a snowstorm with below freezing temps. Navada Williams never thought Lil Girl could be traced back to her. So Navada Williams, her guardian to avoid responsibility called her in as a stray. There are many outlets for owners struggling or no longer wanting pets, Valley Save a Pet helps owners with sick pets, Red Rover, Jake Brady Memorial Fund, Honey Ferlin Foundation Dr. Ramsy, and The Bummer Fund do as well. These resources are easily found with a Google search. There are over 600 rescues listed in Ohio alone that could have been contacted for help. Navada watched her dog grow weaker every day and did nothing, not 1 known call made for help. Had she made calls months ago, Lil Girl may still be with us today and this whole thing would never have happened. We also ask that the second dog not be returned to Mrs. Williams. She has proven her self to be a poor owner, and it would be a tragedy to see him suffer a similar fate. She could not keep up with Lil Girls basic and medical care how will she be able to properly care for him?
