There is petition asking the archdiocese to make masks optional. We simply want masks to be required as long as scientific data supports the use of masks.
The other other petition says " As usual, no data or metrics were given to justify it and no data or metrics were given as to when the mandate may be lifted"
However, there is a lot research done showing that masks indeed work.
So this petition is simply asking the archdiocese to follow scientific evidence. We are not pro mask or anti mask, we simply know that this situation will continue to evolve, and we should follow the cumulative scientific evidence.
