At my high school we have a boys football team. Since this high school is located in the country girls are not able to be on the boys football team. By signing this petition it is helping me get my school a football team just for girls. There is a bunch of girls at my school and other schools that would love to play football but are told no because they're a girl. You might be wondering why I'm not making this petition about girls joining the boys team. Well that's because there is so many girls at my school that want to play and there would be not a lot of room for boys and girls. If i get 788 or more people to sign this petition my school will get a girls football team and make so many people happy. For generations after mine girls will be able to play a sport that everyone knew as a boys sport. This will effect young women a lot. Females that want to play football get discriminated against often. Most men that live around my school think girls are to weak to play football. I personally have been told to try out for the football team. Plenty of people believe I would do good but I can't even test their hypothesis if I can't get on a team. I've been to every football game at my school for the last 3 years and I know my way around a football field. My dream is to play football for my school and with your help you can help me succeed in making my dreams come true.
