Aternos is a great free minecraft server hosting website. It even has a premium membership which is totally worth it. But the problem is that if you want a program which checks whether your server is online, or the number of players online. You can't do that and its just irritating to see such a great oppurtunity go to waste. Software engineers can relate and will obviously be the only ones who understand what an API is but if your not a programmer just see this as getting info from aternos without going to the website and not being able to do it so just sign the petition already
