Texas politicians effectively outlawed abortion in the state. This is yet another example of their extreme legislative actions, that flout the will of a majority of Texans and Americans.  

These same Texas politicians also passed legislation to suppress the vote so that a minority of voters can keep them in power. It's clear that Texas politicians are willing to undermine democracy to stay in power and impose their minority will.

IT IS TIME FOR US TO DEMAND THAT TEXAS COMPANIES MOVE HEADQUARTERS OUT OF THE STATE. 

It's no longer enough for companies to pay lip service to mainstream policy agendas. They need to speak with their actions - starting by making public plans to leave the state unless the abortion law is repealed.  

In addition, companies must stop funding these extremist politicians. They can't say they oppose what a politician does in one arena and yet continue to fund that politician to have their special interests met. All support of the state and politicians voting for the abortion law must stop.

Action speaks louder than words and we are asking these companies, all large Texas employers, to speak with their feet - leave the state and stop funding its politicians on any issue.

So while I will miss shopping at Whole Foods, and it will be a pain to change my cell service away from ATT, we must. Until the companies that enable Texas politicians speak loudly with their actions, they won't get our business.
