Here is one thing I know for sure.... I don’t need a car warranty! The current level of harassment by unrelenting robocalls is unbearable. I currently have multiple numbers blocked in an effort to duck and dodge these robots with little to no success. They pause when the call begins to capture the curiosity of the victim and then pounce aggressively warning of imminent danger in having an expired car warranty. Each time, I feel tricked, bamboozled and tempted to cuss (I am born again though) but settle for rolling my eyes and adding the number to the blocked list. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that we are stuck at home where calls come through on our Voice over IP line, our emergency analog line and cell phone at the same time....a ringing chorus of robocall terror. Clearly there is an evil company with some sort of Robo1000 machine able to spam all working and active lines in American at the same time. I am not impressed and something must be done to guard the sanctity of my homestead from this madness. All telephone companies should have a free option available to block these calls, funded by the Telecommunications Act fees already assessed on our monthly invoices. Join me in the effort to shut down this car warranty robocall brigade....eliminating one spam call at a time.
