For My beautiful son Austin,

He loves baby shark and icecream, but most of all, all things of the outdoors especially rivers, lakes and beaches..We will be celebrating his 4th birthday soon on the 14th of june..A day that should be bringing our family great joy, excitement and celebration, is now overcast with anxious fears for his future, schooling and most of all his happiness.

You see

My son Austin is currently on a 14 month waiting list to be assessed for Autism (ASD) just like nearly 5000 other children in Ireland, and without this assessment the supports and therapies he desperately needs are nowhere in site for at very best 2 years when you add that to the 14month waiting lists and the length of time an assessment takes,  this means my son would be over the age of 5 and have already missed out on the milestone or starting his first day of school..

SO I AM ASKING YOU AS A MOTHER TO PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO SIGN AND SHARE THIS PETITION

To help my son and many other children in Ireland who are being failed by an unfair system..

Please just imagine for a moment your child showing all the red flags of Autism (ASD) and you knowing the support your child will need to grow and thrive in life, but that support is now year's away and out of your reach, so you watch your child struggle, unable to give them the supports and therapy they need.. you're told you'll have to wait over a year to even begin the process of being given a diagnosis..all the while knowing that early intervention is the key to successfully improving their further development and wellbeing..this is what our family and the familys of 5000 children in Ireland are going through on a daily basis, to no that the supports our kids desperately need are being left out of our reaches..

please sign and share this for my son Austin and for the 5000 plus children in Ireland.

Thank you.
