Mckayla Chance started this petition to Dallas County District Attorney and

Dog fighting is rampant in the city of Dallas yet authorities do nothing to stop it. Dogs are being chained in deep water and forced to swim endlessly to prepare for fighting. Dogs are tied up on makeshift mills, they’re hauling heavy chains and heavy weighed collars to build their neck strength. They’re left to live isolated and taught to kill and tear their opponents and practice bait to shreds. ALL OF THE DOGS PICTURED are from Dallas country organized dog fighters and drug dealers. One of them, mentioned in the article below, got away with possession of dog fighting equipment and possession of narcotics yet this man didn’t spend any time in jail for his crimes nor for violating his probation and still continuing to fight dogs (despite having previous felonies). DPD and the DA are aware and they have known about this for a long time yet THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! There are hundreds of dogs sitting on chains being bred and taught to fight! The ones who don’t make the cut are sold to backyard dog fighters and the deliberate breeding and training of aggressive dogs continues with these dogs being in neighborhood backyards! This is not only illegal it is also a public safety issue but the city has taken no action to put an end to this.

There is nobody left to contact for help. Federal agencies can’t help unless local authorities are involved but the city of Dallas either does not care or they are covering something up. With $10K for champion dog fights this is a lucrative business and it’s money over humanity in Dallas.

Here is an investigative report made by CBS11 who got to see for themselves what incomprehensible injustice is plaguing our sad city.
