We need the town to sit down with Alix Turner, listen to her concerns, and sort things out before Friday, July 1st.

Alix Turner, longtime champion for Lancaster's seniors, resigned from her position as Council on Aging director in a moment of frustration on Thursday, June 16th. 

Unless something changes, July 1st will be Alix's final day.  (More detail is available in the Item article linked here.)

Steve Kerrigan is the Chair of the Lancaster Select Board and was assigned to be Alix's manager following a Select Board vote on June 15th.  The best thing for the Town of Lancaster is for Steve and Alix to sit down and find a way to resolve this. 

With this petition, we ask Steve Kerrigan to meet with Alix Turner, hear her concerns, and do what is necessary to keep her as Lancaster's Council on Aging Director.
