Ask Our County Commissioners to Fully Fund the FY19 Kent County Public Schools Budget

The proposed FY19 BOE budget includes much needed additional staffing for our schools including social workers, an additional guidance counselor for the middle school and helping teachers. To be able to hire and sustain these positions we need the County to approve an increase in Maintenance of Effort (MOE) and fully fund the proposed FY19 budget.
As you know, a high-quality and competitive public school system is instrumental to our county’s economic health, fueling job creation and the ability to attract new families to our communities. Let our Commissioners know that strong schools are important to you.
Thank you for your support and commitment to furthering the growth and development of our county - and of the children that will decide its future.
