Across the globe, thousands of people die from cancer every year. Many of these people have conditions related to cancer that cause infertility and hormone complications. One of the contributing products are game consoles and controllers that contain carcinogenic plasticizers to make the plastic shells less likely to break like glass if dropped and to make buttons and other rubber-like features as soft as necessary for easy manipulation.

However, over the last 40 years the world has been learning more and more about the dangers of carcinogens and the importance of avoiding them and replacing them with non-carcinogenic substitutes. It's about time that the popular gaming company that puts toys in the hands of our children be made to adopt this ethical change and use one of the 3 most popular categories of non-carcinogenic plasticizers in their game consoles and controllers. 

Nintendo has the power to formulate new plastics recipes including non-carcinogenic ingredients for their manufacturers to produce safer products for all their customers and their families.

Please join me in petitioning Nintendo to stop using harmful ingredients in their products, resulting in less children around the planet growing up infertile and facing the horrible ultimatum of chemo drugs, experimental natural therapies or a slow, painful death.
