People whom I know that came from Milton speak very highly of their continuing connection and the pride of the roots that obviously go deep in their memories. The idea that a Jewish community still flourishes there should also be a tribute to Milton and welcoming them (again) good for the larger community as well.

There should be a place for the Jewish people of Milton to call home. I still think of Temple Shalom as my home even though I moved away many years ago.

Having grown up in a small town near Milton, I believe in the importance of embracing our fellow townspeople, in all the diversity of their faiths, colors and personalities. A town with the stature of Milton should welcome the presence of its Jewish citizens and neighbors by celebrating their contributions to the community. The town should be working to remove obstacles from this project. The community at large will only benefit and be strengthened!

As a member of a family with six generations of ties to Milton, and as a convert to Judaism, this is a vital issue to me on many levels.

Milton needs a synagogue. The Congregation has been looking at options for years. They deserve a home.
