Now that Queen Elizabeth II has died, Australian coins and the $5 note would normally be changed to have a picture of King Charles III where QEII is now.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the government to ask Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups for alternative coin designs that honour the Indigenous origins of Australia instead of some distant monarch?
