Maintain Low Class-Sizes at Aromas School!

Aromas School families and community members are committed to keeping our teachers and maintaining low class sizes at all grade levels! Larger class-size is detrimental to our students' academics, behavior, and motivation, just to name a few.
We are calling on our board to hear our voices and honor our priorities. Please do what is best for our children and keep our class sizes low!
The research is abundant and clear:
- "Class size is an important determinant of student outcomes, and one that can be directly determined by policy. All else being equal, increasing class sizes will harm student outcomes." **
- "The 'overwhelming majority' of peer-reviewed papers" find smaller class sizes benefit student learning. *
- "Money saved today by increasing class sizes will result in more substantial social and educational costs in the future." **
- "Policymakers should carefully weigh the efficacy of class-size policy against other potential uses of funds. While lower class size has a demonstrable cost, it may prove the more cost-effective policy overall." **
