After seeing a post on Facebook stating that the Chinese markets have reopened. I look online and see how they kill/care for the meat is absolutely disgusting and disturbing. These poor animals are being abused and tortured till their last breath, chickens stuffed in cages that are stacked on top of each other, dogs being burned with torches to burn the hair off as the poor thing screams in pain. Aside from these horrible things being done, these practices are what started the virus and probably other smaller viruses. Butchering meat in disturbing and unclean ways and letting it sit on unsanitized surfaces to be spread to hundreds everyday, it’s too much. We need to shut down these markets and move to more cleanly, safe markets with clean meat and produce to prevent the spread of bacteria, virus and disease.
