Ash Kalra of the California Assembly campaigned on Single Payer and authored a bill AB1400, known as CalCare. Thousands upon thousands of people worked tirelessly giving freely of their volunteer labor to push this bill forward. 

The night before the vote in the full assembly, Ash Kalra pulled the vote from the floor of the Assembly, citing "We just dont have the votes." In doing this, Kalra has protected establishment Democrats from being on record with a Yes or No vote. But Kalra refuses to tell us WHO those Democrat votes were that he didn't have. Kalra protects establishment interest and NOT the interest of the people whom he supposedly represents. This stab in the back cannot stand!

This petition says to Kalra: NAME THE NAMES! You knew from your colleagues that they were going to vote against it, you say. So, TELL US WHO THEY ARE!!

STOP SHIELDING THEM! STOP HIDING THEM!

Anything short of Kalra naming names publicly and boldly equals service to the health insurance companies, the hospitals, and the corporate owned state of the Democratic Party.
